On the basis of the European Parliament and Council Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons who report violations of Union law (hereinafter referred to as the “Directive”), INTEBO s.r.o. introduced internal notification system, which is intended for persons who, in connection with work or other similar activities, have learned of an illegal act that violates a legal regulation falling within one of the areas defined by the Directive.

A person who had reasonable grounds to believe that the reported breach information was true at the time of notification and that the information fell within the scope of the Directive, and who complies with the Directive through an internal or external reporting system, will be afforded protection under the Directive. This protection consists, for example, in the prohibition of applying retaliatory measures against the whistleblower and other natural and legal persons (e.g. whistleblowers, assistants of the whistleblower, persons close to the whistleblower, legal entities, the partner is a neighbor, etc.). Confidentiality relating to the informant’s data (or other affected persons) and the information provided in the notification will also be ensured.
